With 20 municipalities and approximately 100,000 inhabitants, the Pays de Laval has a strong character behind its apparent tranquility, which has always had welcoming and seductive charm.
This privileged location already existed in Roman times. The role as a major intersection would be confirmed later, with the progressive expansion of the city of Laval, became the crossroads between the provinces of Maine, Brittany and Normandy.
Over the centuries, the 19 other municipalities have added their stone to the building, each with its own architectural treasures, its heritage and personality that contribute to the Pays de Laval territory, at once harmonious and rich in its diversity .
